Quebec, Tuesday June 1, 2021 - Mimz is finally launching its first collection in collaboration with a guest designer, the Quebec content creator established in Europe: Julia Mateian. This highly anticipated new collection, which we find under the name, Julia Mateian x Mimz , unites the respective strengths of the two young businesswomen recognized for their creativity: silky linen clothes made in Quebec and the refinement of European style .
The J ulia Mateian x Mimz collection is available in four pieces, offered in different warm and minimalist colors: ivory, natural, brown and black. Aimed at the modern young woman who likes to have fun with her style, the clothes entirely designed and manufactured in Quebec are available today on the Mimz online store in five different sizes, from very small to very large.
To bring the collection to life, the visuals for each piece were photographed in the stunning landscapes of Italy. To take customers on a journey, each piece bears the name of the city where the official photos were taken. Thus, we find the Ostuni dress, the Puglia skirt, the Bari headband and the Matera top.
A COLLECTION IN CO-CREATION
Mimz, who definitely dares with this collection which aims to be more sexy and feminine than those revealed over the last few seasons, wanted to take advantage of the summer period and the feeling of liberation that accompanies deconfinement to offer pieces that are both refined and daring . “I feel that the future with influencers is really moving towards co-creation with companies. Consumers are so attached to influencers since they are a part of their lives, which is why they get even more excited when these content creators have projects. They are ready to encourage them whatever the form. We really had a lot of fun working with Julia, who immersed herself in the world of Quebec fashion, with a little nostalgia, for the creation. We complement each other well and we have developed a very good relationship,” says the young businesswoman, Émilie-Rose Couture.
JULIA MATEIAN
Julia Mateian is a Quebec content creator and businesswoman, who has been based in the City of Lights for several years. A regular at French fashion weeks and social evenings, Julia masterfully manages the careers of five influencers between Europe and Canada, in addition to being a marketing consultant. First recognized thanks to her blog The 26th Look, where we could discover her daily inspirations and her heightened sense of style through superb fashion photos in the Old Port of Montreal, Julia then developed different clothing collections, notably for its boutique Shop the 26th Look in Montreal in 2015, then for Salon Le Manoir in 2018.

Launched in 2017, Mimz first became known for its one-piece swimsuits. Established in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures in the Capitale-Nationale region, it is the young entrepreneur Émilie-Rose Couture who is at the origin.
